Arsenal ready £20m bid for Sporting Lisbon defensive midfielder

Arsene Wenger is ready to splash £20m inorder to land Sporting Lisbon defensive midfielder William Carvalho to help his team with defensive duties which have crippled their progress.
The Emirates side made a 15 million pounds in the summer but it was rejected and are therefore hopping an improved bid may price the Portuguese international away from Lisbon.
The player has featured extensively for both Club and country making him the ideal choice for Arsenal. His signing will bring the much needed stability infront of defense as Arsenal continue to nurse injuries to key players like Wilshere.
