The Blues defeated the French side in the quarter-finals of last season’s competition, winning the tie on away goals after a 3-3 draw on aggregate.
Jose Mourinho’s side are due to travel to Paris for the first leg on February 17.
“I think both teams now have totally different teams to last year and it’s a one-off situation, like we know in knockout. I think we’ve got an advantage by being away first. At least we know what we will have to do for the second leg, so from our point of view, whether it was PSG or whoever it was, it would still be the same situation.”
Chelsea are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Derby County in the quarter-finals of the League Cup
