The Mexico international has struggled for first-team opportunities in his season-long loan from Manchester United, prompting speculation that a winter exit is on the cards.
“Sometimes the media speculate too much and assume situations,” Eduardo Hernandez told AS. “He will not leave the club [in January].
“Real Madrid are a team full of impressive players and obviously to earn a spot is difficult, but Javier has a great quality in working hard, like he has since the first day, and this is his quality.”
Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti recently claimed that the 26-year-old will get chances to shine, having played second fiddle to in-form Karim Benzema for much of the season.
Hernandez has scored three times in seven La Liga appearances thus far.
